Art & Soul is a multifaceted arts and theater company dedicated to unlocking creative potential through unique performances and introspective experiences. Participants in the company’s themed annual camps are encouraged to explore their own personalities and perspectives in a multitude of fun and interesting activities, culminating in an engaging full-fledged performance.

In addition, Art & Soul gives local theater enthusiasts the chance to see extraordinary new kinds of performances and theatrical productions put on by the company, featuring talented actors, musicians, writers and artists with an immense passion for their craft. There’s always something new and interesting around the corner when it comes to Art & Soul’s creative productions!

The founder and director of Art & Soul, Kelley Hamilton, is a seasoned veteran of the performing arts world with a strong desire to spark creativity in people of all ages. With nearly 30 years as an arts educator and performer, she has created unique, one-of-a-kind performances and arts experiences throughout New York State that have wowed audiences and performers alike.

Meet Kelley Hamilton!

Kelley Hamilton (Owner/Director) has been a performing artist, director and arts educator for over 25 years.  A graduate of Ithaca College and the Eastman School of Music, she has studied voice with Patrice Pastore, Masako Toribara and Douglas Ahlstedt. Along with writing and directing original musicals and revues, she frequently performs as a professional opera and music theatre singer. She has been a soloist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Chamber Orchestra, Irondequoit Chorale, and the University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra. She has also sung roles with the Buffalo Opera, Rochester Opera Theatre, Empire Lyric Theatre and GEVA Theatre Center in Rochester. She has been part of the music theatre voice faculty at Syracuse University, Binghamton University and SUNY Cortland, and is proud of her work as an arts educator.  Her new company, Art & Soul, represents the most authentic and meaningful way of teaching and performing in all genres. Recently returning to the Ithaca area, she is thrilled to continue her artistic pursuits in this vibrant community.
